Reena, it happens. Next time though you could call your local wildlife society and ask them what you could do.
The baby finches are now long gone. They will find a mate and make their own nests soon!
Anjali, they were so small initially. When they grew wings they filled up the nest! And I was wrong about how many there were. There were only 2.
